Engr. Abiodun Oyedepo (IPNC) FNISafetyE, FNSE. Engr. (Prince) Adeyemi Biodun Oyedepo was born on the 15th of December, 1960. He attended Kiriji Memorial College, Igbajo between 1975 and 1980. Engr. Adeyemi Biodun graduated with a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos in 1986, and an MBA in Strategic Management from the same University in 2001. He holds a Master of Science degree in Air Safety Management from City University of London, United Kingdom and also a degree in Law from National Open University of Nigeria. Engr. Adeyemi Biodun Oyedepo joined NEPA now PHCN as a pupilage Mechanical Engineer in 1988 where he served in various capacities such as Maintenance Engineer, Manager (Generation Planning), Senior Manager (Technical Audit) and Senior Manager (Marketing). He later joined the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria as General Manager (Safety) in 2007 and later appointed General Manager (Mechanical), a position he holds till 2012 before branching out on his own. Engr.Adeyemi Biodun Oyedepo is a registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He is also a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals, Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management, Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers and a Fellow of Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers. He has assumed various positions of responsibilities, some of which are National Chairman, Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers; Chairman, Nigerian Society of Engineers (Lagos Branch); Director, National Automotive Council; Director, Centre for Automotive Design and Development (CADD); Chairman, Training and Human Resources/Consultancy Committee, Nigerian Institute of Management (Lagos Chapter); Coordinator, Seminars/Workshops for Professional Development, Nigeria Society of Engineers, among others and presently he is the National Chairman of Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers, a division of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. Engr. Adeyemi Biodun Oyedepo is happily married and blessed with lovely children. His hobbies include reading and reasoning.
